- NPK Background + Mg12. Foliar application: 1st - in the tillering phase, 2nd - in the boll phase, product consumption – 2.0 kg/ha, working solution consumption – 300 l/ha. (Variant 3)
- NPK Background + Mg12. Foliar application: 1st - in the tillering phase, 2nd - in the boll phase, product consumption – 3.0 kg/ha, working solution consumption – 300 l/ha. (Variant 4)
Trial plots area – 100 m², observed plots area – 50 m². Trial repetitiveness — four times.
RESULT:
- Yield increase compared to control with NPK background ranged from 0.97% to 4.05%.
- The yield increase resulted from an increase in the productive stems number, length of the ear, number of grains per ear, and the 1000 seeds weight.
- Grain quality indicators also increased: the protein content in the grain increased by 0.3-1.2% (in absolute values), and the weight of 1000 seeds increased by 1.3-2.8%.
- The maximum result was achieved with a double application at a 3.0 kg/ha dose.
- The maximum yield increase exceeded the experimental error and was statistically significant.
