CROP: White cabbage, “Garant F” variety

PRODUCT: Mg12 (foliar application)

YEAR:  2023

COUNTRY: Kazakhstan

APPLICATION:

  1. Control. NPK background.
  2. Background NPK + Mg12. Foliar application: 1st - in the rosette phase and then 2 times with an interval of 14 days, Mg12 consumption - 0.5 kg/ha, working solution consumption - 300 l/ha.
  3. Background NPK + Mg12. Foliar application: 1st - in the rosette phase and then 2 times with an interval of 14 days, Mg12 consumption - 1.5 kg/ha, working solution consumption - 300 l/ha.
  4. Background NPK + Mg12. Foliar application: 1st - in the rosette phase and then 2 times with an interval of 14 days, Mg12 consumption - 3.0 kg/ha, working solution consumption - 300 l/ha.

Trial plots area – 20 m², observed plots area – 10 m². Trial repetitiveness — four times.

Foliar application with the Mg12 product was carried out on June 22, July 17 and July 31. Harvest – October 23.

RESULT:

  1. Yield increase compared to control with NPK background: 2.25-17.96%.
  2. The yield increase resulted from improvements in yield structure: cabbage head mass increased by 8.3-19.1%, cabbage head diameter increased by 1.4-4.0%, and cabbage head height increased by 5.1-13.7%.
  3. The content of dry matter and vitamin C remained essentially unchanged, while the total sugar content increased by 2.9-5.9%.
  4. The maximum result was achieved with a triple application at a 3.0 kg/ha dose.
  5. All yield increases exceeded the experimental error and were statistically significant.
